Suffolk County Water: Exceeding customer expectations by integrating SAP orders and MWM
Suffolk County Water Authority (SCWA) has always been a big believer in technology. From the introduction in the 1970s of automated chlorinating equipment and an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer for in-house water analysis, through to the implementation of an SAP data processing system to centralize multiple databases.
So it was no surprise when the utility turned to technology to eliminate the paper-based systems it relied upon to process work orders, manage field crews, and schedule customer service calls.
"It was important to select a technology vendor that truly understood the unique challenges faced by a utility organization of our size. The company’s alliance with SAP was another important factor in our decision."
